Private

Being a private school provides the opportunity to customize our educational approach for each student.

Our school is a great choice for families seeking not only strong academic preparation but also a curriculum that incorporates value-based education in line with the Bible. Furthermore, as a private school, we actively involve parents in activities and decision-making.

Bible-based

Our educational approach is firmly rooted in the Bible.

Biblical principles are woven into every part of our standard academic curriculum. In other words, faith and learning are strongly integrated. The Christian faith and its Biblical teachings are not just respected, they are actively taught and reinforced.

Character training

We believe that character development goes hand in hand with the acquisition of knowledge and skills.

Character training is thus incorporated in the entire curriculum. The students are encouraged to develop their character after the example of Jesus Christ. The Fountain ICS emphasizes the application of Biblical principles and values in the students’ daily lives.

International

The Fountain utilizes an English curriculum, and is as such not supervised by the Dutch government.

Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) offers a complete, self-taught curriculum with emphasis on skill building and goal setting with each student working at his own level of proficiency.

Individualized

Each student develops and learns in accordance with his own abilities and at his own pace, reducing e.g. peer pressure.

The program allows the teacher to focus on the student’s strengths while at the same time allowing for extra, targeted support in areas where a student might be struggling.

Safe

We maintain a friendly and social atmosphere in which every student is encouraged to find his identity in Christ.

Maintaining an atmosphere in which students can feel safe helps them to focus on learning and at the same time stimulates open communication without fear of rejection or judgment. This helps students to actively engage in the classroom.
